I wanted to share a bit of personal news with you all: I’m preparing to relocate to Munich to further my career in opera. It’s a thrilling step, but naturally it comes with challenges, including the need to deepen my German skills quite quickly, which I’m addressing through intensive language training. I am in need of financial support to advance my German language studies and to undertake an audition tour across Germany in 2026.

As an artist of mixed Filipino-Australian heritage, I believe representation is vital in the arts. By pursuing my career on the international stage, I aim to serve as an inspiration for others of similar backgrounds, proving that diverse voices belong and can thrive in the operatic world.
Germany is home to the most vibrant operatic landscape in the world. With over 9,000 performances annually, this is more than triple the amount of North America, Italy, and the UK combined. For emerging artists, it represents the most viable pathway to secure Fest or guest contracts. As a young coloratura soprano with recent professional experience in London, it is the perfect time for me to enter the German system.
As part of this new chapter, I’ve started a small fundraising campaign to help cover the costs of lessons and relocation. If you are in a position to help, whether that be financially, or by spreading the word, I would be incredibly grateful.
